We are looking for a creative individual who can develop dynamic, innovative documentation that engages our user base. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a contract Technical Writer for Ceres, you will work closely with our software engineers to develop documentation for our leading genomics software, including user guides, release notes, installation guides, API documentation, and technical advisories for a varied audience of end-users. • You will plan, coordinate and execute documentation projects with minimal direction. • You will ensure accuracy, readability and completeness of technical documentation, while effectively articulating the features and corresponding benefits for our genomics software products to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated excellence in technical writing with available samples. • Experienced at independently gathering relevant information, developing a comfort with software features and processes, and drafting and writing of end-user software manuals. • Life sciences background or experience preferred. • Experience in programming is advantageous. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with people in various roles, both technical and non-technical. • Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail in a high-volume, active, and deadline-driven environment. • Experience with Word and PowerPoint required; experience with Adobe InDesign helpful.
