MUST HAVE A CURRENT GOVERNMENT SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE • Support acquisition planning and execution of pre-system acquisition and acquisition phase program activities that are consistent with DoD 5000 series directives. • Support joint DoD-DOE Nuclear weapon life-cycle activities in accordance with DoDI 5030.55 and DoD Directive 3150.1, as well as any other relevant U.S. law, DoD, CJCS, USAF, or other Service Component, directive, policy, instruction, or guide. • Assist and advise in analysis, planning, and reporting of any capability gaps or mission enhancements that may be mitigated/enhanced through materiel solutions. • Support ALCS-R Program Engineer to assist the Government and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) engineers and the Assistant ALCS-R Program Manager in writing and reviewing technical acquisition documents and contractor deliverables. • Assist the government with designing test plans, identifying test facility requirements, scheduling and executing tests, writing technical acquisition documents and reviewing contractor deliverables. • Support ALCS-R developmental and operational tests including the TMRR "down select" tests. • Assist and support the identification of ALCS-R System Integration Laboratory (SIL) requirements and oversee the SIL design and build. |

Skills/Requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||||
MUST HAVE A CURRENT GOVERNMENT SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE BA/BS degree and 0 - 3 years' experience in electronic engineering Knowledge of the acquisition process IAW Department of Defense (DoD) 5000.2 and Better Buying Power 2.0, to include but not limited to; program schedules and phases, entrance/exit criteria, acquisition documentation, program requirements, technical development strategy, and acquisition strategy. Possess professional engineering knowledge and be capable of clearly articulating the technical requirements of the ALCS program and providing technical advisement to the program manager in the review of contractor deliverables. Proficient in traditional engineering software, to include, but not limited to: Solid works 3D CAD, Cameo Systems Modeler, Primavera and Microsoft Office Suite. |
