Position: Director -QA
KEY Responsibilities
· Manage, technically mentor, inspire and continue to build a Quality Assurance organization with multiple feature teams and maintenance teams.
· Build bridges for communication and collaboration between onshore and offshore teams, fostering trust.
· Use Agile Software Development Methodologies to deliver high quality applications and features on time and with exceptional quality.
· Drive continuous process improvement and innovation, identifying ways to improve efficiency and increase the velocity of the teams and the overall organization.
· Champion and drive best practices and processes improvement in the team: testing methodologies, automation coding standards, code-reviews, risk mitigation, defect management, and release management.
· Prioritize well and communicate clearly with status updates to the wider team, partner groups and senior management leaders.
· Continually fine tune the balance and trade-off’s between delivery and investment, iteration and innovation, and tactical and strategic initiatives.
· Work with Quality Leads and Senior QA staff to drive greatness in execution: Building quality into the product rather than testing quality into the product.
· Work side by side with Product Management to create, drive, and deliver innovative, compelling, and user friendly products.
· Actively develop and grow leadership talent through effective mentoring and retention strategies.
