The Informatica Administrator will work with Merkle’s internal solutions teams to deploy database marketing solutions. The primary responsibility will be to assist the different solutions teams assuring that the shared Informatica platform is functioning optimally and solutions are designed and deployed to take optimal advantage of it.
Position Responsibilities:
- Informatica issue resolution. Serve as the first line of support internally for any Informatica issues raised by the solutions teams
- Serve as day to day contact with Informatica Support for issue tracking and resolution for issues that can not be solved internally at Merkle
- Resource management. Monitor and manage compute and storage resources associated with the Informatica cluster
- Performance tuning help for solutions teams including process optimization, cache tuning, etc
- Maintain best practices. Maintain a library of best practices in order to support knowledge sharing between Merkle’s Informatica architects and developers
- Software upgrades plan and manage Informatica software patching and upgrades
- Security administration. Manage Informatica users and roles in order to enforce Merkle data security, while making sure all users have the necessary access to perform their tasks
- Interface with the support team for Merkle’s enterprise scheduler in order to schedule and monitor Informatica production jobs
